Filmmaking Workshop
Atelier School of Art & Design presents a 10-weekend intensive filmmaking workshop led by AR Shah and Oswin Leonard, filmmaking students from the National College of Arts (NCA).
Designed as a comprehensive introduction to the filmmaking process, the workshop takes participants through every stage of film production—from developing an idea and writing a script to shooting, editing, and screening a completed film. Through lectures, practical exercises, film analysis, and collaborative production, participants gain hands-on experience while developing an understanding of contemporary filmmaking practices.
The workshop combines technical training with creative exploration, encouraging participants to think critically about storytelling, visual language, and cinematic expression.
Who is it for
This workshop is intended for students, aspiring filmmakers, artists, photographers, content creators, and anyone interested in visual storytelling.
No prior filmmaking experience is required. Participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of filmmaking while progressively developing practical skills through assignments, exercises, and collaborative projects.
