Entry Test Preparation

Atelier offers focused training for students preparing for art university entrance tests in Pakistan, including institutions such as IVS, KU, SABS, NCA, BNU, and PIFD. The program is designed to build the skills needed to approach the test confidently through clear understanding and consistent practice.
Preparation is centered on the core components of the entry tests. Students train in observational drawing, developing an understanding of form, proportion, light, and space through real-life subjects. Alongside this, emphasis is placed on visual problem-solving, helping students respond to creative prompts with clarity and structured thinking.
Regular practice is combined with timed exercises that simulate actual test conditions, helping students manage time, reduce hesitation, and improve decision-making under pressure.
Interview preparation is also an important part of the program, guiding students to articulate ideas, discuss their work, and respond to questions with confidence.
While the focus remains on test performance, students also develop a body of work that reflects their progress and understanding.
The goal is simple: to prepare students with the skills, discipline, and confidence needed to perform at their best.

Mock Tests & Interviews

Regular mock tests are conducted to closely simulate actual entrance exam conditions. Students work within strict time limits, learning how to manage pressure, make quick but informed decisions, and complete their work with clarity and purpose. This process helps reduce hesitation and builds confidence in handling the structure and pace of the real test.
Alongside this, mock interviews prepare students to articulate their ideas and speak with clarity. Students are guided on how to respond to questions, explain their thinking, and engage in conversation without relying on memorized answers. The focus remains on developing confidence, awareness, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Guest sessions with practicing artists and professionals are organized to expose students to different perspectives and experiences within the field. These sessions provide insight into how artists and designers think, work, and approach their practice beyond the classroom.
Students gain an understanding of different career paths, creative processes, and expectations within the art world. These interactions help broaden their outlook and encourage them to think more seriously about their own direction and approach.
Guest Lectures
Exhibition Visits
Students are regularly taken to exhibitions and galleries to engage with artworks in a real-world context. These visits are not passive; they are supported with observation-based assignments that encourage students to analyze, question, and interpret what they see.
Through these experiences, students develop visual awareness and critical thinking, learning to look beyond surface impressions.

Students may join throughout the year, though early enrollment is encouraged for maximum benefit.
