ABOUT US

Founded in 2018 by visual artist and educator Sundeep Kumar, Atelier School of Art & Design was established as a studio-based space for serious art education grounded in skill, discipline, and creative growth.

Active as a practicing artist since 2015, Sundeep has exhibited in more than thirty exhibitions and is recognized for a practice that bridges strong traditional draftsmanship with conceptual inquiry. This balance between technical rigor and critical thinking informs Atelier’s teaching approach.

Over the years, Atelier has grown into a space where students build foundations in drawing, painting, portfolio development, and university preparation through structured guidance and individual mentorship. Rather than following a rigid model, teaching is shaped around each student’s goals, abilities, and direction.

Many students who began their creative journeys at Atelier have gone on to graduate from leading art and design universities and are now working as professionals across creative fields. This continued growth reflects Atelier’s commitment not only to training skills, but to helping shape lasting creative paths.

At its core, Atelier remains a place where practice, ideas, and mentorship come together to support emerging artists and designers.
